Central Etowah County in northeastern Alabama…
* Until 830 PM CDT.
* At 522 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
fallen so far.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Gadsden, Rainbow City, Attalla, Glencoe, Altoona, Walnut Grove,
Reece City, Noccalula Falls, Gadsden Mall, Neely Henry Lake,
Southside, Gadsden Municipal Airport, Ramsey, Rockledge, Big Wills
Creek, Howelton, Northside, Gadsden Steam Plant, Gadsden Water
Works and Gallant.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
