This is the water.weather.gov depiction of the accumulated precipitation over the past 14 days across Central Alabama. Those purple blotches indicate 15-20 inches of rain there over West Alabama.

This afternoon, skies are mainly clear over the northwestern third of the area, with only scattered cumulus clouds over the rest of the state. Drier air has filtered into northern Alabama, with dewpoints in the 50s over the northern third of the state. Temperatures are in the 70s to near 80 over the northern half of the state. Winds are out of the west.

Looks like lows in the lower and middle 60s tonight. Monday will see highs around 80F. Look for upper 40s Tuesday and Wednesday morning.
