Dew Points Headed Down

Just browsing over the latest surface map of the Southeast US and could not help but notice the gradient (change) in dew point as you look upstream. How’s this for a drop>

Dew points at 10:00 am:
Birmingham 70
Muscle Shoals 59
Jackson, TN 46
West Plains, MO 38

Clouds along and ahead of the drier air should be clearing out later today with much, much, much drier air coming in later today and tonight. Fall will definitely be in the air tomorrow morning!
