NOAA-16 Global Lightning Mapper Shows Tremendous Activity in Ida’s Eyewall
The eyewall of Hurricane Ida is showing lots of lightning, an indication of a rapidly intensifying hurricane.
It appears that Ida will be strengthening right up until landfall this afternoon, which is a frightening thought.
