The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southeastern Bibb County in central Alabama…

* Until 545 PM CDT.

* At 515 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Talladega
National Forest, or near Centreville, and moving northeast at 8
mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Centreville, Trio and Bibb County Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
