The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southeastern Cherokee County in northeastern Alabama…

* Until 945 PM CST.

* At 919 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Moshat to near Ball Flat, moving east at 45
mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Centre, Forney, Pleasant Gap, Tennala, Moshat, Ball Flat, Eastern
Weiss Lake, Coloma, Howells Crossroads, Waterhouse and Spring
Garden.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CST for northeastern
and east central Alabama. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect
until 400 AM CST for east central Alabama.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
