Central Shelby County in central Alabama…

* Until 1015 PM CDT.

* At 927 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over American
Village, or over Montevallo, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Alabaster, Pelham, Helena, Calera, Chelsea, Montevallo, Columbiana,
Wilsonville, Westover, Wilton, American Village, Maylene, Highland
Lakes, Fowler Lake, University Of Montevallo, Shelby County
Airport, Mount Laurel, Oak Mountain State Park, Lay Lake and
Alabama 4H Center.
