CANCELED — TORNADO WARNING: Parts of Bibb, Chilton Co. Until 10:45 pm

…A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM CDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN PERRY COUNTY…

At 958 PM CDT, a confirmed large and extremely dangerous tornado was
located near Talladega National Forest, or 9 miles southeast of
Brent, moving northeast at 60 mph.

This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!

HAZARD…Damaging tornado.

SOURCE…Radar confirmed tornado.

IMPACT…You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may
be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes
will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes,
businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete destruction
is possible.

Oakmulgee.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

To repeat, a large, extremely dangerous and potentially deadly
tornado is on the ground. To protect your life, TAKE COVER NOW! Move
to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.


The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Tornado Warning for…
Northwestern Chilton County in central Alabama…
Southeastern Bibb County in central Alabama…

* Until 1045 PM CDT.

* At 952 PM CDT, a tornado producing storm was located 9 miles east
of Heiberger, or 13 miles south of Brent, moving northeast at 55
mph.

HAZARD…Damaging tornado.

SOURCE…Radar confirmed tornado.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Calera, Centreville, Jemison, Thorsby, Maplesville, Lawley, Ashby,
Brierfield Ironworks Park, Talladega National Forest, Chilton
County Motor Sports Park, Randolph, Minooka Park, Trio, Six Mile
and Bibb County Airport.
