Late Morning Look at Our Fantastic Weekend

| May 28, 2022 @ 10:03 am

We have a few clouds moving across the northern and western parts of the area as we are moving into the 10 am hour on this last Saturday in the month of May. The 9 am roundup showed temperatures in the mid 60s to the mid 70s across the area, and with mostly sunny skies, afternoon highs will make it up into the lower to mid 80s. Just a fantastic day to get outdoors and enjoy the holiday weekend. Skies will be fair tonight, with overnight lows dipping into the upper 50s to the lower 60s.

Sunday will be another fantastic day with plenty of sunshine and a little warmer as afternoon highs will top out in the mid to upper 80s. There is a disturbance along the Gulf Coast that may try to move toward the north that may bring an increase of clouds to the extreme southern parts of Central Alabama, but at this point, showers do not look to be added into the forecast.

Memorial Day will be a near repeat of Sunday’s weather… Sunny skies and very warm temperatures can be expected, as afternoon highs will top out in the mid to upper 80s.
