Winter Weather Advisory Extended Until 9 pm for much of the TN Valley Region; A Few Counties Allowed to Expire

NWS Huntsville has allowed the WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY to expire for the following counties in the Tennessee Valley region: Colbert, Franklin, Lauderdale, Lawrence, and Limestone.

The WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY has been extended until 9 pm CST for the following counties in the Tennessee Valley region: Cullman, DeKalb, Jackson, Madison, Marshall, and Morgan.

THE COUNTY COMMISSIONER HAS DECLARED ALL ROADS IMPASSABLE ACROSS JACKSON COUNTY. SNOWY AND ICY TRAVEL CONDITIONS CONTINUE TO BE IN PLACE AND ARE EXPECTED THROUGH 11 AM ON TUESDAY BEFORE IMPROVING. THIS WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS ON AREA ROADS ACROSS THE COUNTY. PLEASE STAY OFF AREA ROADWAYS UNTIL CONDITIONS IMPROVE ON TUESDAY.
