Tornado Watch Extended Eastward; Still Set to Expire at 5 pm

SPC & NWS Birmingham have extended the TORNADO WATCH in area eastward to now include Autauga, Blount, Chilton, Jefferson, Lowndes, and Shelby counties in Central Alabama until 5 pm this evening. The watch continues for Bibb, Dallas, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar, Marengo, Marion, Perry, Pickens, Sumter, Tuscaloosa, Walker, and Winston counties in Central Alabama, and for Cullman, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, and Morgan counties in the Tennessee Valley until 5 pm this evening. Colbert, Franklin, and Lauderdale counties were just cancelled from the watch.
