CANCELLED Tornado Warning — Parts of DeKalb, Jackson, Marshall Co. Until 1:45 am

The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Tornado Warning for…
Northeastern Marshall County in northeastern Alabama…
Southern Jackson County in northeastern Alabama…
Central DeKalb County in northeastern Alabama…

* Until 145 AM CDT.

* At 108 AM CDT, a tornado producing storm was located over Grant, or
11 miles north of Guntersville, moving east at 60 mph.

HAZARD…Damaging tornado.

SOURCE…Radar confirmed tornado.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Section around 125 AM CDT.
Fyffe and Powell around 130 AM CDT.
Rainsville and Sylvania around 135 AM CDT.
Fort Payne and Henagar around 140 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Dutton, Pine Ridge, Langston, Rosalie, Columbus City and
Hammondville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.
