Large Tornado on the Ground Southeast of Oklahoma City

This four-panel tells the story of a powerful tornado southeast of Oklahoma City and Norman. It passed south of Cole and will pass north of Washington but very near Goldsby. The tornado has turned due north as it occludes. It is going to go very near the Riverwinds Casino. It should stay south of Norman, but any additional turn to the left will be a problem for them.

Top Right: Strom Relative Velocity: 168 knots of gate-to-gate shear at 8500 feet.

Bottom Right: Correlation Coefficient showing debris. The blue area that corresponds to the velocity couplet indicates debris is being lofted into the air. Debris has reached 8,000 feet.

Bottom Left: NROT. Normalized rotation is a powerful indicator. It has been over +3 at times. Anything over 1 is bad.
