The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
South central Walker County in central Alabama…
Northeastern Tuscaloosa County in west central Alabama…
West central Jefferson County in central Alabama…

* Until 630 PM CDT.

* At 537 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Bankhead Lock
And Dam, or 18 miles southwest of Cordova, moving southeast at 10
mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Bull City, Bankhead Lock And Dam, Whitson, Wiley, The Wye, Tutwiler
and Little Shoal.
