The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southwestern Etowah County in northeastern Alabama…
Northeastern St. Clair County in central Alabama…

* Until 300 PM CDT.

* At 213 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Steele, or
near Rainbow City, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Gadsden, Rainbow City, Attalla, Hokes Bluff, Glencoe, Steele, Reece
City, Gadsden Mall, Noccalula Falls, Neely Henry Lake, Southside,
Alabama International Dragway, Gadsden Steam Plant, Big Wills
Creek, Gadsden Municipal Airport, Cobb City, Gadsden Water Works,
Northside and Ramsey.
