The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southeastern Chambers County in east central Alabama…

* Until 845 PM CDT.

* At 804 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Cusseta, or
near Lanett, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Valley, Lanett, La Fayette, Cusseta, Chambers County Lake, Huguley,
Fairfax, River View, I 85 Welcome Center At Lanett and Lanett
Municipal Airport.
