The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southern Randolph County in east central Alabama…

* Until 900 PM CDT.

* At 816 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Wedowee,
moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Roanoke, Wedowee, Lake Wedowee, Malone, Crystal Lake, Dickert, R.L.
Harris Dam, Ofelia, Tennant, Rock Mills, Paran, Roanoke Municipal
Airport and Rock Stand.
