OTHER ALASKA NOTES
St. Paul Island west of the mainland reporting snow and blowing snow, 27 degrees, gusts to 53 mph. That location once went 38 years without a thunderstorm and when they finally had one, it scared the daylights and nightlights out of a lot of folks, some in their 30s. Now 38 inches of snow on the ground at Valdez.
