Preliminary Tornado Count = 21
These numbers are purely preliminary, so please understand that they will probably go down as confirmations and storm surveys are conducted.
As of this evening, the Storm Prediction Center (SPC) storm report log shows that 21 tornadoes have been reported so far in 2010. The count is broken down like this:

| California | 5 |
| Louisiana | 4 |
| Tennessee | 1 |
| Alabama | 1 |
Fortunately, I saw no references to any deaths or injuries with any of the tornado reports. Let’s hope that statistic continues as 2010 moves on.
