From Andy Kula at NWS Huntsville:
Heavy band of sleet and snow continues from the Shoals through Limestone Co into southern middle TN based on radar, obs and social media reports. Visibility of 1/4 mile or less has been reported via obs and trained spotters. Snowfall in this band is reaching 5-8 inches now, and still falling. Its tough to say exactly where the sleet is dominant over the snow in this band. This will limit accumulation totals some, but will cause compacted ice accumulations and very hazardous travel.

Pure sleet in Hazel Green at 118 pm

Limestone County Emergency Management has deemed all county roads impassable until further notice

Mostly all snow in Florence and a bit heavy at 12:40.
