Our line of storms is into Northwest Alabama now.
Heavy rain and lightning is affecting northern Lamar, western Marion and Franklin Counties, extending up into Colbert County.
To the southwest, storms were heavy over Starkville and Louisville in eastern Mississippi. These storms will move northeast into Pickens and Lamar Counties over the next hour.
The storms are getting a bit of a boost from a northward surge of moisture from the Gulf.
But the good news is that no reports of damage have been received from Mississippi over the past several hours.
