Rain and Storms

At this hour, a large area of moderate to heavy rain is moving across North and North Central Alabama. There is little, if any, lightning.

Moderate rain and some storms are moving across East Central Mississippi into Central Alabama.

Wind advisories continue ahead of the rain area but have been canceled for West Central Alabama. Winds gusted to 53 mph earlier in the morning at Tupelo MS. 45 mph gust was reported at Columbus MS.

A tree was reported down in Fayette County blocking the road on Pikeville Road.

The rain and storms will continue east through teh morning hours.
