Beautiful Saturday In Progress

| March 30, 2024 @ 12:21 pm

A gorgeous Saturday is in progress across Alabama. Skies are mostly sunny with just a nice cumulus field beginning to develop in areas of higher dewpoints where temperatures have reached their convective temperature mark.

For now, that is limited to western Alabama, where dewpoints are in the 50s and temperatures have reached the lower to middle 70s.

Convective temperatures are generally in the lower 70s, so most everyone should become partly cloudy through the afternoon hours.

Temperatures will top out in the middle 70s North to upper 70s across much of Central Alabama.

Lows tonight will be in the 50s area wide.

The next two days will be very warm with highs approaching 80 in many locations.

Rain and storms will arrive Tuesday. Severe weather is possible with damaging winds being the main threat.
