Rain and Thunderstorms Poised to Enter West Alabama
A large area rain and storms covers much of Central Mississippi this afternoon. A line of scattered strong storms extends southward along I-59. There is a severe thunderstorm south of Hattiesburg near Lumberton.
In Alabama, thunderstorms are over Lamar and Fayette, eastern Pickens moving into Walker and Marion.
A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for northern Mobile county.
The rain and storms will move across Central Alabama tonight. Isolated storms could be severe over South Alabama.
