Active weather in western Alabama as upper-level trough pushes into Alabama…a bowing segment has developed from the line of storms moving across Mississippi. A weather watch is not expected. The storms are feeeding on high CAPE running over 2,500 joules/kg.
Strong to severe storms are moving into western Alabama, from Colbert County south to Choctaw and Marengo Counties.

extending from near Panola to 8 miles west of Jefferson, moving
northeast at 55 mph.
