Strong Storms Over Northeast, East Alabama

Strong storms continue over northeastern and eastern Alabama this afternoon.

There are still severe thunderstorm warnings for DeKalb and Cherokee Counties in NE Alabama.

Elsewhere, strong storms are along US-280 from Childersburg to Alex City. They are not severe but are still packing a punch.

Strong storms are in the Gadsden area. They will be moving southeast toward Jacksonville and Piedmont.

Be alert for strong gusty winds, torrential rains, and dangerous lightning.
