We have so many reports out of the NE part of the country, that we could make this post 10-feet long. We will not do that, of course, but here are some highlights. Just a bit of good news, the intense storm is beginning to relax it’s grip, at least partially, on the northeast.

* 75 inches of snow in Philadelphia so far this winter, including 48 inches just in February so far. The average for the entire winter, as of today, is only 15 inches.
* 17 inches of snow from this storm in NYC Central Park.
* 40 inches of snow this winter at Newark, which is double the average amount.
* 28 inches of snow from this storm at West Milford, NY.
* 31 inches at Monroe, NY.
* 30 inches of new snow in Prattsville, NY.
* 14-foot waves at the Boston buoy.
* 39 inches of new snow at Franconia Notch, New Hampshire.
* 38 inches of snow at Randolph, New Hampshire.
* 8.38 inches of rain from this storm at Scarborough, Maine. Widespread heavy rain over Northern New England.
* 121 mph wind gust around midnight atop Mt. Washington, NH
* 24-foot waves overnight at the Portland buoy.
* Numerous flight cancellations in the Northeast.
* Hundreds of traffic accidents.
* Numerous motorists have been stranded in the heavy snow, especially north of NYC.
* Estimated 700,000 people without power in the winter storm area.
* 300-year-old dam collapsed this morning at Freetown, Mass. flooding homes. People were being evacuated.
