Sara Slightly Stronger as of the 9pm CT Advisory
As of the 9pm advisory from the National Hurricane Center, tropical storm Sara has intensified slightly, with sustained winds now at 45mph with higher gusts. Sara has also made her first landfall, just barely inland along the coast of Honduras. Life threatening and catastrophic flash flooding is expected in some areas. Sara is moving west at about 10mph, but is expected to slow down to nearly a crawl Friday evening.

The latest track from the NHC dissipates Sara over the southern portion of Mexico late Sunday night. This bodes good news for the Gulf Coast, as there is a lower and lower chance that Sara will pose any major problems. That said, we encourage you to stay tuned for updates as changes in the track and intensity are still possible.
