A beautiful Sunday is in progress across Alabama with a mix of some high passing clouds and some lower ones, but generally a mostly sunny day across the area.
Temperatures are mostly in the lower 60s North to upper 60s South Central, ranging from 64F at UAH in Huntsville to 70F at Selma.
Afternoon readings are within a degree or two of where they will end up for the daily highs. Lows tonight will be in the 40s areawide.
No real changes in the forecast. Some gusty winds overnight tonight, but nothing significant. A good supply of sunshine tomorrow with highs warming back into the 70s thanks to a southerly wind and the sunshine. A few showers arrive tomorrow evening with a weak front, but rainfall amounts should be a tenth of an inch or less. No thunder expected.
Cooler for Tuesday with highs near 60. Winds shift to southerly again on Wednesday and highs warm into the middle and upper 60s. Showers break out Wednesday evening with a stead rain in the pre-dawn for the Tennessee Valley. A steady rain breaks out for North adn Cerntral ALabama on Thanksgiving Day making it a good day to stay in. But that’s ok. The low placement does not look favorable for severe weather across Alabama, but we will keep monitoring it. Some thunder will be involved. Turkey Day highs will be centered aorund 60-61F.
Black Friday looks colder with highs in the 40s, clearing skies, but a gusty northwest wind.
Iron Bowl Saturday looks partly cloudy and cold. Highs don’t get out of the 40s after morning readings in the 20s over the northern half of the area.
