Strong, But Not Severe Storms Over Portions Of Central Alabama This Afternoon

| March 30, 2025 @ 2:33 pm

Strong storms continue to develop and impact portions of central Alabama this afternoon. While they are under severe limits, gusty winds, small hail, frequent lightning, and torrential rain can be expected with some of the strongest storms.

The areas currently impacted by some of the heavier storms include areas between Linden, Marion, and Orrville, as well as in portions of extreme northern Tuscaloosa county and portions of Bibb county as well. If one of these storms approaches, be sure to head indoors to avoid being stuck by lightning.

Storms should diminish this evening once the sun goes down, and we lose most of the day time heating and instability.
