Flood Warning for Parts of Madison County Until 1 PM

| March 31, 2025 @ 9:47 am

Flood Warning in effect until 1 PM for parts of Madison County, including areas near Indian Creek.

Heavy rain earlier this morning has led to excessive runoff, and flooding is already happening along Indian Creek and surrounding low-lying areas. Between one and two inches of rain have fallen, and while no additional rainfall is expected, the flooding impacts will continue for a while.

Areas affected include: Huntsville, Madison, Redstone Arsenal, Triana, Marshall Space Flight Center, and Harvest.

If you see a flooded road, turn around—do not try to drive through it. Most flood-related deaths happen in vehicles.
