Expired – Tornado Warning for Parts of Dale & Henry Co. Until 12:45 PM

At 12:14 PM, radar detected rotation in a severe thunderstorm near Newton, close to Ozark, moving east at 35 mph. This storm could produce a tornado at any time.

Threats with this storm:

A tornado is possible.

Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter.

Mobile homes could be damaged or destroyed.

Expect damage to roofs, windows, vehicles, and trees.

Areas in the path of this storm include:

Newton, Midland City, Pinckard, and Ozark by 12:20 PM.

Headland by 12:30 PM.

Other impacted locations: Sylvan Grove, Newville, Hunt Field, Waterford, Kirkland Crossroads, Blackwood, Bagwells Crossroads, Ewell, Browns Crossroads, and Goldberg Field.

Take cover now! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Stay away from windows. If you are in a mobile home or vehicle, get to a safer location immediately.
