New Mesoscale Discussion: Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issuance Likely
The SPC has issued a new mesoscale discussion for a large part of central and northern Alabama as well as northern Mississippi. With the main threat from todays storms being large hail and damaging winds, a severe thunderstorm watch will likely be issued at some point later this afternoon. The tornado threat is very low and nearly 0. Be sure to remain weather aware this afternoon and evening!
