| April 22, 2025 @ 5:16 pm

Strong thunderstorms continue to drift slowly across central Alabama this afternoon, producing gusty winds, torrential rain, and a LOT of lightning. There are no severe storms in progress as of 5:15pm this evening, but an isolated briefly severe storm cannot be ruled out through sunset.
