Noon Weather Update For Southeast Alabama Storms

| May 10, 2025 @ 12:00 pm

Strong to severe storms continue to pose the potential for a few tornadoes over southeast AL. One tornado warning remains in effect just to the SE of Dothan, but the NWS does not plan on extending this for now, as the rotation is not as strong. Still, many of these storms have some level of rotation, and additional tornado warnings could be required. Hence, a tornado watch remains in effect.

I am currently keeping my eyes on a cell near Cottonwood which is showing a new area of weak rotation. We will monitor for any new warnings issued by the NWS.
