Tornado Watch Issued for Portions of Central Alabama Until 1AM

Tornado Watch 309 is in effect until 1 AM CDT Wednesday for 21 counties in Central Alabama, including Bibb, Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, Etowah, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lamar, Marion, Pickens, Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, Talladega, Tuscaloosa, Walker, and Winston. Cities included are Birmingham, Anniston, Gadsden, Hoover, Jasper, Pelham, Sylacauga, Tuscaloosa, and others. Stay alert and be prepared to take cover if conditions worsen.
