Red Mountain Theatre presents Disney’s ‘Frozen’
In the beautiful mountainous kingdom of Arendelle, Princesses Anna and Elsa grow up sheltered inside their castle, isolated from the world and increasingly distant from each other. When Elsa is crowned queen, the magical powers she’s desperately tried to conceal from her sister take control, and she flees into the mountains. As a ferocious winter descends on Arendelle, Anna sets off on an epic journey to find Elsa and bring her home – with the help of hardworking ice harvester Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven and a happy-go-lucky snowman named Olaf. This tale of sisterhood and true love includes all the film’s beloved songs along with new music written exclusively for the stage:
May 28-29: Disney’s preview performance.
May 30-June 29: Disney’s “Frozen” production.

This interweaving of poems and moments seeks to expand and complicate the Southern narrative – a celebration of Black Southern love, queerness, playfulness, culture and spirituality. It is the playwright’s love letter to the place that made her. “Kudzu Calling” runs Thursday, May 29, through Sunday, June 8, at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival in Montgomery.
