NWS Mesoscale Discussion For Northern Alabama For This Evening

The NWS in Huntsville has released a mesoscale discussion for an MCS of thunderstorms that have the possibility to be severe. A watch may not be issued, but this cluster still has the chance to bring strong wind gusts, heavy rainfall, and hail.

This cluster is currently being formed in northern Mississippi and will likely be in the state within the hour. Although a watch is not likely to be issued, the conditions will continue to be monitored as it makes its way through Alabama and Tennessee.
