Closing Book on a Busy Day

After about 42 hours of almost no sleep…its time for bed.

The tornado watch has just been cleared for Autauga, Bibb, Blount, Chilton, Dallas, Hale, Jefferson, Marengo, Perry and Shelby Counties.

Two bands of showers and storms left tonight…

The first is over Northeast Alabama m extending from Ashville to Gadsden and Centre.

The second extends from southeast of Talladega to Stanton.

The storms are weakening slowly. There could still be a future warnings overnight, but hopefully the storms are going downhill now.
