Recapping the highs that are in so far and the records set today…

102F at Birmingham (new record)
101F at Huntsville (new record)
102F at Muscle Shoals (new record)
100F at Anniston (new record)
105F at Tuscaloosa (new record)
106F at Montgomery (new record)
101F at Mobile (new record)

These could change by a degree possibly in the upward direction before they are final.

That is a massive thunderstorm east of Columbus GA. It has tops to over 56,000 feet and shows that it is definitely producing hail. It has produced well over 1,000 lightning bolts in the past hour! It is moving SSE.

Nothing like that in our area. Everything limited to SE Alabama.
