Storms and I Ready to Relax

In the last 30 minutes to an hour, showers and storms decreased a bunch across Central Alabama.

A few moderate to heavy ones continue. Probably the heaviest over the NE corner of Calhoun County east of Piedmont.

This could possibly, maybe, probably be our last update concerning showers and storms unless there is another uprising. If so, we will be here so, as they say on TV:

“Stay with us.”

We will now turn more attention to Hurricane Dean who will absolutely dominate weather news in the coming days.

Also, may post some Alabama high temperatures and rain results later this evening. One report of note: Vic Bell, 33/40 Weatherwatcher for Black Creek says his string of 100+ days ended today with a high of 99.
