Alabama Weather Situation at Noon

Scattered showers and thunderstorms were already underway over about the north third of Alabama at high noon. A few of the stronger ones:

…..West of Jasper
…..Near the Cullman/Morgan/Lawrence County line intersection
…..Calhoun and North Talladega County.

Biggest lightning display on lighting detection equipment is in the general vicinity of Anniston.

Movement of all storms toward the east, maybe a little more to the ESE
