Strength of thunderstorms has diminished greatly. The stronger storms, still with considerable lightning were scattered across NW Alabama from about Cullman and Winston County northward,

As of 6:25, there were no formal Severe Thunderstorm Warnings on the board.

Lot of rain-cooled air to enjoy. The 3340 Skywatcher, located nine miles north of Fayette reported a “cool” 73 degrees after a high today of 95. He also reported two inches of rain.
