Still a few thunderstorms in progress late tonight but the stronger ones are down in SE Alabama. They are moving across Pike and Barbour County producing locally heavy rain and a lot of lightning. They should soon be out of Alabama.

Meanwhile over North Alabama there were two areas of showers, one over NW Alabama and the other over the NE counties. The showers were light to moderate. Earlier, they dumped very heavy rain.

An unusual report from Weaver in Calhoun County, the 3340 Skywatcher reported 1.33 inches of rain which is also the exact amount that they received Friday. So 2.66 in the last two days!

Over on the west side of the state. 1.44 inches of rain this afternoon in SW Lamar County!
