Alabama at Mid-afternoon

Yesterday at this time, big, mean thunderstorms were forming over North and NE Alabama and they were beginning to march southward.

Not today. Nothing going on over about the north half of the state.

Instead there are some strong thunderstorms over West Alabama. The strongest storms in these areas:

…..West Hale County

….Marengo County

…..Near Livingston in Sumter County

Scattered smaller showers were across Chilton, Clay and Talladega County. Movement generally northward.
