That (family) (group) (cluster) of thunderstorms that has been moving south down the west side of Alabama this evening first entered Extreme North Alabama during the afternoon. The storms continue to move almost due south tonight.

At 8:50 pm, the storms had consolidated into a relative short line across Central Sumter County to SW Hale County. The east end of the line was at the south tip of Greene County and SW Hale County. Livingston will be experiencing the storms soon and so will Demopolis.

Some official high temperatures around Alabama this afternoon:

……95 Albertville, Fort Payne, Huntsville, Anniston

…..91 Russellville, Cullman Airport

…..92 Scottsboro

…..90 Valley Head

…..97 Auburn, Dothan, Muscle Shoals

…..96 Birmingham Airport and Shelby County Airport

…..94 Montgomery, Mobile

This will probably be our last update on these particular storms . . .
