Thanks to Liz Guyton for this image… she writes:

“What kind of cloud is this it was behind Walmart in Fayette looks like it is around Guin or Hamilton”

The cloud is a cumulonimbus cloud; an isolated summer thunderstorm. You can clearly see the anvil at the top of the cloud spreading out equally in all directions due to the light winds aloft. Under the cloud, no doubt there was lots of heavy rain and lightning at the time. Nice shot!
