My Tiny Corner of the World

Let me say quickly that I will not make a habit of posting Molly adventures on this blog. After all, it is a weather blog and I probably should not post it at all on a “hurricane day.”

However, I have received numerous queries (15-20) in just the last week, mostly via email, and some by phone, wanting to know why I stopped writing the daily Molly adventures. Actually, I have not missed a beat. They are available every afternoon Monday through Friday and in the same places. It is the last paragraph of the Seven Day Discussion and forecast and, as usual on the afternoon e-forecast which you can have sent free of charge to your email address.

There are changes since a complete 33/40 new web design. Here is a simple way to find the 7-day discussion and forecast: Look on the left side of this page and you will see a menu of links printed in blue. Click on the very top one and that will take you to it.

Little Miss Molly and I have already taken our long walk, 1/2 mile, just before sunrise this morning. I never know what to expect. She is always in one of two modes. Either the “city inspector” mode where she stops and sniffs numerous clumps of grass or weeds and ALL tree trunks. She often does a 180 to go back and check one she missed. Her other mode is full speed ahead like a runaway stage coach. Reminds me of the old b/w episodes of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans chasing a stage coach of bad guys. Of course, I have to run like a horse also but I don’t mind. Molly is responsible for my loss of 30 pounds in the last year!

Life goes on and I cannot imagine what I would do if I lost that little 9-pound ball of energy!
