Late Morning Look at Gabrielle

| September 9, 2007 @ 10:42 am | Reply

The center of Tropical Storm Gabrielle is moving inland near Cedar Island, where the Ocracoke Ferry lands. This is about 20 miles NE Of Beaufort, NC.

Top winds are still 50 mph.

The storm won’t lose any strength as it moves over the beautiful wetlands of eastern North Carolina and the Outer Banks. By tonight, it will be back over the open waters of the Atlantic, headed northeast.
