Thanks to ABC 33/40 Skywatcher Kristie Calvin for these images… she writes…

“Hi James:

We have had snow on and off since Sunday. Temperatures have been hovering around 32 degrees during the day, which has allowed for some melting on the roads. However, the temperatures are dropping to around 20 degrees at night, which leads to some very ICY roads for the morning drive. Today, we had 0.9 inches of the white stuff. We are expecting more snow throughout the seven day forecast. Temperatures should average around 30 during the day and between 10 and 15 at night.

While the temperatures are dropping, we are also losing daylight. The official sunrise is at 8:38 a.m. and sets at 6:35 p.m. We are losing 6 minutes and 41 seconds of daylight each day.

Hope you are enjoying some crisp, fall weather in Alabama. God bless!”
